I am a therapist whose goal is to help people with their mental health, overcome stigma, and increase awareness of mental health. I use my clinical experience and expertise to help clients to start their way to self-acceptance, balance, and happiness. I am very dedicated to my clients, and trustworthy. Trust and sincerity are crucial during the client-therapist matching process.
I am experienced in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with various issues, and am able to help you! I have gained experience working as a VA social worker psychotherapist in various hospital settings, including: acute psychiatry palliative care, oncology, and intensive care unit. I have also completed the Illinois 40 hour domestic violence training, including the treatment of both survivors and perpetrators of abuse. I have also trained many social work students over the years, as a clinical field instructor. I focus on providing the highest level of care.
I have a master's degree in social work from the University of Chicago. My primary modalities of therapy are psychodynamic, family systems, Mindfulness Based approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
" I am committed to creating a non-judgmental and safe space where you can freely explore your thoughts and emotions. Your mental well-being and growth are my top priorities, and I am here to support you every step of the way on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. "
